Highlight of the Week!!! Our New Piano!!!

Monday, President's Day, our new piano was delivered. The kids have enjoyed playing on it this week. Especially Madeline, you can hardly get her off of it. This is the song she was assigned on Tuesday at piano and she already has it memorized. I am so grateful my kids got some musical ability because we all know I have none!

This is it for my first attempt!

It has officially been over an hour creating this tonight and at 12:15 a.m. & I'm going to bed, quite proud of myself, might I add. Anyone who knows my computer & typing skills should be most proud and surprised that I did this at all. Goodnight!

P.S. I would love to thank my friend April for the inspiration to do this tonight, that is if I can figure out how to tell anyone how to view this.

This is Preston sparring against his friend Christian (9 years old) at his last Tae Kwon Do belt test. Recently he came home from Tae Kwon Do so excited because he broke a real board with a kick. (Master Perez let him keep the broken board even, and yes we still have the broken board in his closet.)

Macall knows how to enjoy the snowday!

Madeline and Macall heading to the park to go sledding. So far our sowdays have been the most beautiful days, the bulk of the snow fell overnight and we had a beautiful day to play in it.

Too Much of this White Stuff!

We have had a very "white" winter and are ready for spring sunshine. We have had several "snowdays" at school and last week we even had a "snowday" from church.

1/14/08 So Preston at 7-years old finally lost his first tooth. I decieded one night to check to make sure he was brushing well eanough. Upon inspection I noticed a second row of teeth coming in, the baby teeth however, were barely loose. The next night I made him an offer aparentely too good to pass up. I offerd him $20.00 to get the front baby tooth out but each day the offer looses $1.00. No kidding, about ten minutes later he and Madeline had that tooth bleeding and hanging, litterally by a thread! I finished the job and he made $20.00 plus his Tooth Fairy money! As you can see in the picture his lower gum was totally bruised from trying to get it out. From this we can learn, Preston will do about anything for a buck! (Notice the permanent tooth already there.)
