Happy Easter!

These brave kids are braving a cold, windy day to find their eggs. They were so excited they refused to get coats on (I think Maddy just didn't want to cover her new dress.) Macall found one egg and that was enough for her. For lunch all they wanted was to eat Easter eggs and fruit, that's fine by me.

Had I known they were going to have the parents jump too, I would have worn better shoes, and the big hair is because of the jumping. (Good picture Maddy.)

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART

Today Madeline's school had a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. An hour and a half of loud music (we were right by a speaker), and 100 3rd and 4th graders jumping rope in the gym. It was fun, but I came home tired with a massive headache!

Blessing Boston

Madeline and Baby Boston (3 months old, and so tiny).

Maddy absolutely adored her little niece. It was fun to go visit family and meet the newest member of the family.

Grandma and her little "helper" Macall finishing Boston's blanket the night before the blessing. Up late, but finished and washed and all ready for Boston's big day! Good job Grandma (they really are beautiful blankets!)

BOGUS Sledding!

This was our fun day sledding at Bogus Basin Ski Resort!

Friday, March 7, 2008 Macall started her day afraid of the hill, by the third run down she was in love with this form of sledding, as were the rest of the family! She really does know how to ride in style, she sat in her tube and either Derrick or I pulled her around all day.

This is the best tube hill ever. They hook you to a rope tow and pull you up and at the top of the hill they throw you down with a great big spin--Tons of Fun!

Macall had a great day of fun playing on the slides, burying herself in the balls and having lunch. We only had two minor melt-downs: The first requires mom to climb into the slides and rescue her from a very steep slide, the second was a ball fight which she was thoroughly enjoying until she got hit.
